The Color: This yarn has four different shades of blue, offering a more subtle effect for those who want the fun of stripes without all the crazy color combinations. The stripes move in a gradient transition from palest icy blue to frost, blueberry, and royal.
The Name: Gramercy is a term used throughout Malory's Morte D'Arthur, uttered by quite a few characters. It is a contraction for the French "grand merci" (great thanks) and is used to express a strong feeling, especially surprise. Blue is my favorite color, so for me (and I hope all other lovers of blue), gramercy is quite appropriate to utter upon seeing this colorway!
