The Color: This downright stunning four-stripe sequence encompasses the Lunete (pale orchid purple-pink), Orkney (icy aqua-blue), Sir Gromer Somer Joure (bright yellow-green), and Dindrane (lavender-violet purple) colorways. It’s like a spring bouquet in yarn form, and it’ll woo you every time!
The Name: Luf Talkyng is a phrase used by Lady Bertilak in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight when she is trying to seduce Gawain. She tries using flattery on him and tells him what a fabulous reputation he has for how he treats women. She wants him to teach her luf talkyng (love talking), or how to woo someone. The ironic part is that she seems to need no teacher as she is doing quite well on her own! These colors remind me of springtime and love.
