The theme for this club, which ran from December 2017 through March 2018, was the Abduction of Guenevere. One day, Queen Guenevere takes a few knights with her on a pleasant horseback ride. But the ride quickly turns unpleasant when an evil knight comes along and abducts the queen! For this yarn club, members received part of the story each shipment and found out who kidnapped Guenevere and why through the end of the adventure. (What does Lancelot do when he finds out? Tristan and Isolde

The theme for this club, which ran from February 2017 through October 2017, was Tristan and Isolde. The story of Tristan and Isolde tells of the forbidden love affair between this knight and lady, who is married to Tristan’s uncle, King Mark. Their tale is woven into the fabric of the Arthurian legends, usually as a foil for the love triangle between Lancelot, Guenevere, and Arthur. The Poisoned Apple

The theme for this club, which ran from October 2016 through January 2017, was “The Poisoned Apple.” In this story, Guenevere hosts a dinner party for a group of knights. During the dinner party, one of the knights eats a poisoned apple and dies. Guenevere is accused of the poisoning and faces trial. No knight comes forward to take her side, and Lancelot (her usual champion) is not at court due to the falling out they previously had. The Making of the King

The theme for this club, which ran from February-May 2016, was “The Making of the King,” or how Arthur came to be King Arthur. The inspiration started with how Arthur’s parents met, including the subterfuge Uther had to use to win Igraine, and ends with Arthur being proclaimed king after a rather prolonged series of meetings even after proving he was the rightful king by pulling the sword from the stone.
