The Story Behind the Colorway Name
Caerleon is the location in Britain that Geoffrey of Monmouth in his History of the Kings of Britain claims as the site of Arthur's court, referred to later as Camelot. This was a real place with ruins that Geoffrey, who lived in the 12th century, would have known. Later excavations have reveals Roman buildings, including an amphitheater. Locals claimed it to be the origins of the Round Table (though no table would be there, the knights would have sat in a circular formation, facing one another).
