Camelot (fingering weight MCN)

A kiss of elegance

Sometimes an average yarn just won’t do – sometimes you want to dream bigger. This yarn is special; while you’ll get the reliability of merino and nylon, the touch of cashmere is like a kiss of elegance on an otherwise everyday yarn. Knit or crochet yourself a pair of socks designed for lounging by the fire or a shawl or cowl that will add a touch of luxury to any outfit. (The pictured color is Lunete's Plight.)

80% superwash merino/10% cashmere/10% nylon

Softness guaranteed, with nylon for stability

You'll want to create a project to drape around your neck or keep close to your skin.

Fingering weight

435 yards in 100 grams

One skein is perfect for a small shawl; use two or more skeins for a more substantial shawl to decadently wrap around yourself

Semi-solid and Tonal Colors

Add depth to your project without sacrificing any design elements

Whether you are working with lace or cables or want to do colorwork, the tonal colors won't hide your hard work but also won't be as flat as a true solid color.

What can you make with Camelot?

Camelot is a perfect yarn for shawls and cowls and other next-to-skin items. It also makes a luxurious sweater. You can find a bundle of suggested projects to make with Camelot over on Ravelry.

Camelot makes your special project even more special.

This Virgil by Caitlin Hunter was a delight to knit. I couldn't put it down because it felt so buttery soft in my hands while I was working on it. The colorwork flew by so quickly that I was done with those sections before I had even realized I was working on them. I couldn't wait to get this top off the needles and try it on because I knew how good it was going to feel. And I was right! (Colors are Priestess (blue), Gorlois (brown), and Gwenhwyfar (light yellow).)
