About the Colorway (Elaine of Corbenic: 4 stripes)
The blushing rose pink of this colorway pairs perfectly with the bold royal blue and the tempered oatmeal neutral to bring about a surprising combination.
The Story Behind the Colorway Name
Elaine of Corbenic is the daughter of King Pelles, who somehow gained the knowledge that his daughter and Lancelot would have a son who would be the noblest knight of all and who would complete the Grail quest. But Lancelot was in love with Guenevere and thus not at all interested in Elaine. Because she cannot win him through seduction, Elaine uses trickery and makes Lancelot believe he is actually sleeping with Guenevere. Elaine indeed gets pregnant and gives birth to Galahad, who is everything his grandfather knew he would be.

About the Yarn from Round Table Yarns
The yarns from Round Table Yarns are dyed by hand in small dye lots so each skein receives special care and attention. Colorway names have been taken from the stories of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, and on the inside of each label, you can read the story of the inspiration behind the name.
The yarn is ready to ship in a muslin project bag for safe delivery and will arrive in your mailbox in a cheerful purple mailing envelope. Your yarn typically ships within 24 hours, often on the same day you place your order.
