About the Yarn Base (Mordred)
You want a yarn that will stand up to the everyday wear that goes along with socks or another high-wear item. Mordred is ready to meet every challenge head on, with a determination to succeed. The Story Behind the Colorway Name
In Mists of Avalon, Morgaine and Lancelet first see Gwenhwyfar when she is a young girl, lost in the mists. Here is how she is described in the book: "She was very young and dazzlingly pretty; she seemed all white and gold, her skin pale as ivory just stained with coral, her eyes palest sky-blue, her hair long and pale and shining through the mist like living gold." Later, Gwenhwyfar marries Arthur, even though she has fallen in love with Lancelet, from the moment of this meeting, which causes much strife in the kingdom.

About the Yarn from Round Table Yarns
The yarns from Round Table Yarns are dyed by hand in small dye lots so each skein receives special care and attention. Colorway names have been taken from the stories of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, and on the inside of each label, you can read the story of the inspiration behind the name (no story on Quest or Adventure colors).
Shipping is free within the United States and free for international orders over $100.
