The Story Behind the Colorway Name
Gorlois is the first husband of Igraine, who becomes Arthur's mother. She is married off to Gorlois, who is much older, at a young age, and then two have a daughter, Morgaine. Overall, he indulges Igraine, yet at the same time, he is extremely jealous and his attitude toward her turns to rage and domestic abuse when he thinks something is going on between Igraine and Uther. (Something does happen later, but not at the time when Gorlois' jealousy first surfaces.) At first a supporter of Uther as High King, Gorlois breaks from Uther due to his jealousy and tries to keep Igraine from Uther. But Gorlois dies in battle and Uther and Igraine unite, producing Arthur, the future High King.

About the Yarn from Round Table Yarns
The yarns from Round Table Yarns are dyed by hand in small dye lots so each skein receives special care and attention. Colorway names have been taken from the stories of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, and on the inside of each label, you can read the story of the inspiration behind the name (no story on Quest colors).
Shipping is free within the U.S. and free for international orders over $100. The yarn is ready to ship in a muslin project bag for safe delivery and will arrive in your mailbox in a cheerful purple mailing envelope. Your yarn typically ships within 24 hours, often on the same day you place your order.
