About the Yarn Color (Destroyer of Good Knights)
Like a sky blue that suddenly turns bold and dangerous, this colorway is daring and just a bit shocking. It's a royal blue with electric undertones and lightning streaks of lighter blue.
The Story Behind the Colorway Name
After Lancelot and Guenevere have a falling out, he leaves court and Guenevere hosts a dinner party for the other knights. At that party, a knight poisons an apple in an attempt to kill Gawain, but another knight eats the apple instead and dies. Guenevere is accused of the poisoning and faces death if found guilty. But no knight will step forward to defend her, until finally Bors does so for Lancelot’s sake (the two knights are cousins). The other knights are unhappy with Bors and call Guenevere “a destroyer of good knights.” (Here, they are probably referring not just to the death of the knight but also to the situation between Lancelot and Guenevere.)

About the Yarn from Round Table Yarns
The yarns from Round Table Yarns are dyed by hand in small dye lots so each skein receives special care and attention. Colorway names have been taken from the stories of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, and on the inside of each label, you can read the story of the inspiration behind the name (no story on Quest colors).
The yarn is ready to ship in a muslin project bag for safe delivery and will arrive in your mailbox in a cheerful purple mailing envelope. Your yarn typically ships within 24 hours, often on the same day you place your order.
