Camelot in Gwynedd
About the Yarn Base (Camelot)
Sometimes an average sock yarn just won’t do – sometimes you want to dream bigger. This yarn is special; while you’ll get the reliability of merino and nylon, the touch of cashmere is like a kiss of elegance on an otherwise everyday yarn. Knit yourself a pair of socks designed for lounging by the fire or a shawl or cowl that will add a touch of luxury to any outfit.

About the Color (Gwynedd)
A deep rose pink, this color is tinted like the lips of a queen or the horizon at sunset. It will bring warmth and femininity to any project with its universally flattering deep red-pink color.
The Story Behind the Colorway Name
Gwynedd (pronounced like Gwyneth—the "dd” in Welsh is pronounced like a “th”) is part of the country of Wales and is mentioned several times in Arthurian stories. For example, one of the twelve battles of Arthur (as described by Nennius) takes place on the Welsh border to protect Arthur’s realm from those beyond this border. Even so, the kingdom never lost its identity. Because this is one of my favorite colors, I wanted to give it a name of honor and pride.

About the Yarn from Round Table Yarns
The yarns from Round Table Yarns are dyed by hand in small dye lots so each skein receives special care and attention. Colorway names have been taken from the stories of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, and on the inside of each label, you can read the story of the inspiration behind the name.
The yarn is ready to ship in a muslin project bag for safe delivery and will arrive in your mailbox in a cheerful purple mailing envelope. Your yarn typically ships within 24 hours, often on the same day you place your order.
