Guenevere in Morgan le Fay
About the Yarn Base (Guenevere)
Guenevere is a yarn that begs to be made into something lacy and lightweight. The 2-ply structure plays nicely with yarn-overs and eyelets, creating a fabric that wants to remain more open and airy. The tonal quality of the color adds depth and dimension to your projects; this yarn has a few secrets, but it’s willing to share them with you.

About the Color (Morgan le Fay)
Is she good or evil? It depends on who you ask, but one thing’s for sure: Morgan’s a passionate woman. This colorway is an ode to the depths of her character: a bold, blood red that’s sure to light your fire. This colorway leans toward hot pink with blue-red undertones (as opposed to orange-red).
The Story Behind the Colorway Name
In the Arthurian stories, Morgan le Fay is a rather enigmatic character. Sir Thomas Malory in his Morte D'Arthur says that Morgan "was put to school in a nunnery, and there she learned so much that she was a great student of necromancy." Not really sure what type of nunnery that was (!) but Morgan's character across Arthurian literature has been portrayed as everything from one of Arthur's greatest supporters to one of his greatest enemies.

About the Yarn from Round Table Yarns
The yarns from Round Table Yarns are dyed by hand in small dye lots so each skein receives special care and attention. Colorway names have been taken from the stories of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, and on the inside of each label, you can read the story of the inspiration behind the name (no story on Quest colors).
The yarn is ready to ship in a muslin project bag for safe delivery and will arrive in your mailbox in a cheerful purple mailing envelope. Your yarn typically ships within 24 hours, often on the same day you place your order.
