Isolde in Destroyer of Good Knights
About the Yarn Base (Isolde)
This fine, smooth, softer-than-soft yarn is like the hair of the fairest maiden or the silk from a magical spider. It manages to be both delicate and strong at the same time, thanks to its lace weight and fiber combination of Bluefaced Leicester and silk. It shines with true beauty and has a bit of a halo—beware, you may fall so in love with this base that you’re willing to battle a dragon just for the chance to knit with it.

About the Color (Destroyer of Good Knights)
Like a sky blue that suddenly turns bold and dangerous, this colorway is daring and just a bit shocking. It's a royal blue with electric undertones and lightning streaks of lighter blue.
The Story Behind the Colorway Name
After Lancelot and Guenevere have a falling out, he leaves court and Guenevere hosts a dinner party for the other knights. At that party, a knight poisons an apple in an attempt to kill Gawain, but another knight eats the apple instead and dies. Guenevere is accused of the poisoning and faces death if found guilty. But no knight will step forward to defend her, until finally Bors does so for Lancelot’s sake (the two knights are cousins). The other knights are unhappy with Bors and call Guenevere “a destroyer of good knights.” (Here, they are probably referring not just to the death of the knight but also to the situation between Lancelot and Guenevere.)
