About the Colorway (Deeds of Arms: 4 stripes)

This colorway has four stripes: pumpkin orange (Bedivere), dark brown (Lionel), autumn green (Pellinore), and deepest navy (Bors). A very masculine skein, perfect to knit socks for your own knight in shining armor.

The Story Behind the Colorway Name

Deeds of Arms was the term used to define the activities of a knight, whether it be actual fighting, participating in a tournament, or going on a quest. This self-striping colorway has four colors: orange (Bedivere), dark brown (Lionel), green (Pellinore), and navy (Bors). With all the colors in this self-striping colorway being named after various knights, the "Deeds of Arms" name felt appropriate for this new colorway.
