About the Colorway (Fair both day and night: 6 stripes)
For a touch of extra fun, this colorway contains six full stripes: it alternates pale feminine pink, baby blue, and sun-kissed gold with grey stripes in between (so pink/grey/blue/grey/gold/grey and back again). This colorway is a great combination of neutrals and pastels, beautiful in any light.
The Story Behind the Colorway Name
In "The Wedding of Sir Gawain and Dame Ragnelle," to save Arthur's life, Gawain has agreed to marry an ugly woman. But on their wedding night, Gawain finds his new wife is actually beautiful but can only be beautiful by night yet ugly by day or vice versa. Gawain allows Ragnelle to choose when she will be beautiful, so she chooses to be beautiful always. Because Gawain has given her the choice and thus sovereignty in her life, the enchantment she had been under was broken and she can go back to being her normal beautiful self.

About the Yarn from Round Table Yarns
The yarns from Round Table Yarns are dyed by hand in small dye lots so each skein receives special care and attention. Colorway names have been taken from the stories of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, and on the inside of each label, you can read the story of the inspiration behind the name.
The yarn is ready to ship in a muslin project bag for safe delivery and will arrive in your mailbox in a cheerful purple mailing envelope. Your yarn typically ships within 24 hours, often on the same day you place your order.
