The Story Behind the Colorway Name
This poem from the 12th century tells the story of a fay-made horn that is enchanted to spill on a drinker who has been cuckolded (basically, whose wife has cheated on him). When Arthur drinks from the horn, he is soaked by the contents. Guenevere tells him a story of once giving a ring to a young man (hiding, of course, her affair with Lancelot!). Arthur is appeased by this story but even more so by the fact that the horn spills on every drinker but one. (Lots of affairs going on in Arthur's court apparently!)

About the Yarn from Round Table Yarns
The yarns from Round Table Yarns are dyed by hand in small dye lots so each skein receives special care and attention. Colorway names have been taken from the stories of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, and on the inside of each label, you can read the story of the inspiration behind the name.
