About the Colorway (Tarabil: 2 stripes)
This color is two stripes of pure magic: deep, richest black pairs with the bold blue-purple of the Tintagel colorway for a winning combination.
The Story Behind the Colorway Name
When Uther falls in love with Igraine, she is already married to Duke Gorlois. To protect his wife from the king, Gorlois puts her in the castle at Tintagel and he goes to the castle Tarabil. Uther lays siege to Tarabil, but one night (with the help of Merlin), Uther goes to Igraine at Tintagel, disguised as her husband. That night, they conceive Arthur and Gorlois is killed at the battle at Tarabil.

About the Yarn from Round Table Yarns
The yarns from Round Table Yarns are dyed by hand in small dye lots so each skein receives special care and attention. Colorway names have been taken from the stories of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, and on the inside of each label, you can read the story of the inspiration behind the name.
The yarn is ready to ship in a muslin project bag for safe delivery and will arrive in your mailbox in a cheerful purple mailing envelope. Your yarn typically ships within 24 hours, often on the same day you place your order.
