About the Colorway (Windows of the Knights: 6 stripes)
This colorway is like a stained glass window: it contains a background of black stripes with alternating hot fuchsia, bold blue-purple, and electric aqua blue.
The Story Behind the Colorway Name
Because this colorway reminds me of stained glass, I researched stained glass windows with King Arthur as the subject. I discovered the existence of King Arthur's Great Halls in Tintagel. This hall was built in the 1930s as the home of the Order of the Fellowship of the Knights of the Round Table of King Arthur. Today, the building is a tourist destination. But one of the most remarkable parts of this building is the series of stained glass windows created by Veronica Whall. A series called "The Windows of the Knights" gives each knight his own window by displaying that knight's shield.

About the Yarn from Round Table Yarns
The yarns from Round Table Yarns are dyed by hand in small dye lots so each skein receives special care and attention. Colorway names have been taken from the stories of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, and on the inside of each label, you can read the story of the inspiration behind the name.
The yarn is ready to ship in a muslin project bag for safe delivery and will arrive in your mailbox in a cheerful purple mailing envelope. Your yarn typically ships within 24 hours, often on the same day you place your order.
